I'm astonished Castle are even considering releasing a Senored ESC!
I though the sensorless controller was perfect in every application?
Or at least, that's what all the Castle-sponsored drivers have been posting...

Guess the Novak fanboys win making everyone believe the sensored awesomeness.
What next, no more USB gotta program it with flashing lights?

Not a big fan of how you connect to castle link by pulling the wires from the receiver all the time. If they made a port that you just plugged into or a seperate wire for the castlelink would have preferred that.

The Mamba does work great as a sensorless controller... with it's own motors. They don't work perfect with other brand motors and especially the low kv stock motors that have to be geared to the moon.
They are adding sensors for the same reasons Tekin did... to make it work with ROAR stock motors and to make it "legit" to the orange and blue crowd.
This new Mamba will now be superior to those other brands.... because it's not a slave to the sensors. It can do what they do... but can also have advantages of dynamic timing that the sensored systems apparently can't do. According to people much more knowledgeable than myself... this is a good thing.
I believe that Speedpassion and Tekin also have this capability.... so it all comes down the the software programmers to make the system rock.
