Very similiar to the Sidewinder. It is taller with the fan on it but that can be taken if.

any more news on this and preliminary specs?

Very curious if this can handle a 4S lipo and 1/8 scale motor unmodded.

Also, wouldn't mind upgrading my 1/10 scale ESC to this.

This is genius on CC part!!! Make a ESC that is perfect for 1/8 scale racing, spec it for 1/10 scale knowing everyone will use it for 1/8 and when they blow up like the Monsters you dont have to replace them because it was used out of spec. Genius!!!!!

Kidding.... Kinda.

Based on what I just read this sounds like it would be a great 1/8 racing esc. The MMM is to big and bulky for the 1/8 buggies IMO. This sounds perfect. I'll be looking closer at it once it gets released and more details are available.

I have been running one in my 1/8 scale Jammin car with a 2650 motor and 4s Lipo for about a month now. I have had some pretty good drivers(Steve Hale, Chad Parks) push the heck out of it and no problems experienced. We did see a couple of issues with the first set of BETA units we sent out so we are making a minor hardware change and sending out some more BETA's.

would be curious to know if there are any built in data logging features being considered for this esc.. i think that would be a great addition... storing motor rpm, motor temp, esc temps etc... all in one place

When is the Mamba Max Pro scheduled for release? I'm in the market right now for a new ESC. Was gonna go with the Tekin RS Pro but the vendor cancelled the order on me

Wouldn't mind sticking to Castle, I already have two Mamba Max and I am very satisfied with the performance

Let me know, if it's gonna happen sometime soon, I can hold my purchase and wait for it.

Just to be clear, Mamba Max Pro is the sensored brushless system right? Also, what kind of turns or Kv motors is going to be bundled with it?

The MM Pro will run sensored or sensorless. It will run to at least a 3.5 and 7700KV and might do even higher KV motors but Mike might be able to give more details on what the max amounts it can run.

I don't know if anyone knows what type of lead time til they are available to order from the hobbyshops.

This will be a nice addition for my E-Jato!

I can run one of my 5700s for bashing and outdoor racing...

And I can slap in my 13.5 for the indoor season

My Mamba Max systems are still going strong (surprisingly enough!

)

The only problem with the built in USB port, is you need to find the 64-bit driver for the communications chip in the Mamba Max... I forget which one it is, though...
