If you have it in sensored/sensorless mode, if there are sensors present it will start with sensors and then switch to sensorless for better timing control. In sensored only mode there will be a timing boost mode.

It will run all the castle motors just like normal, just also gives you the option to run sensored motors also.

when available, can you post the dimensions of the ESC case? I would like to see if a cutout will fit my GV2T chassis.

Also, with this looking to be 6S rated, any possibility this could be ran on 4S 1/8 scale electric duty?

I would guess that it would be better off running 5S or 6S 1/8th scale stuff since they will draw less current.

Ah, this is all good news! I both race and bash with Castle electrics and they have served me well. Have never experienced any of these sensorless 'gremlins' I'm told they are meant to have.

Sad to see the USB port go. It did make life easy for quick ESC swaps to a different chassis. The Sidewinder style Castle-Link is rather painful and I always seem to misplace the reciever plug adapter. Castle could have come up with it's own port like iPod or Kodak have for their devices.

I'm curious to know when the CM36L 2200Kv is going to appear. This will be perfect for those chassis that just don't have the gearing options for a 4600Kv or higher rpm motor.

Cheers, Mark

for the GV2T you will need to use cut some material from the chassis to make it fit. It fits in a losi or B4 without any issues.

Expected release date? Or probably too far to tell?

I'm very happy with my Sidewinder and MMM so far, so I'd love to get the MM Pro for sensored setup on my other 1/10th. I can't wait forever though....otherwise, I'm considering a Tekin RS.

If you run it without the fan do you still need to trim the chassis on the GV2?

Hello,
@ wyd

do you have any information if castle does have a plan for a "race" sensored motor ?
I remember that Mr Del castillo said on Rc-monster that they planned to make some badass 1/10 scale motor based on lesson taken from Mamba monster motor.

At this time they are working on the speedo and no plans in motors but that don't mean that down the road they won't explore that option further.

Sounds awesome. 6s is a ton of power for a 1/10 scale vehicle. The monster is a ton of power for....well anything.
