I have had the opportunity to test one. This controller has tested great. I practiced several times at 30 straight. Here is a pic of it in my GV2 T

wow, bigger thank the Mamba Max?? I was hoping it was about the same size, and since it doesn't use the USB setup, won't cut the sidewall of the chassis anymore.

If it is going to be that big then I might have to pass on it.

the fan is optional and comes right off...keep in mind it is proto case. It is about the same size as the sidewinder. I had to mount it sideways as the Academy chassis is very narrow.

If they can make it smaller then it will be better. To me the fan isn't the issue, but if I were to get one I want it to fit with out a problem in my RB5. If I have to mount it on it's side I would rather get somthing else (I am bing picky ).

Don't get me wrong I think the ESC will be great, and it will be one of the only ones that is up to par with the tekin (although I think castle started programing the esc on a computer). But for me I would like it to be smaller as mounting a huge esc in a TC of 10th scale buggy can be an issue. Also I hope the price in around the price of the MM.

When can we expect to see this? I would like to use this in 1/10th scale.
Would the sensored motor have sintered rotor or lightened rotor? That would eliminate most of the reason for me to look else where...

thats true, however, the Mamba Max fits the side fine in the Academy. I would assume then that the Pro is even wider than the MM?

The MM does fit in the GV2 and so does the Sidewinder although the Sidewinder is a little tight but no mods are needed to fit it in. The MM Pro from I been told is a tad bit smaller than the Mamba Max. Not sure when the consumer versions come out if they are going to ba any smaller or not. I guess we will just wait and see how it goes.

The MM pro is a couple of millimeters wider then the MM. It is a couple of millimeters shorter in length then the MM.

It will run both sensored and unsensored. It will automatically detect whether there is a sensor cable plugged in. If there is it will use the sensors for start up. If not then it will use normal sensorless startup.
