Default SC10 info

Does anybody have any inside info on the new SC10 corr truck? Has anyone ran one yet? How does it compare to the Slash? Upgrades could be endless. I
am looking for a play truck/race truck if the class takes off around here???
Share what you know. thanks Big Jim

defintely a race bread truck. havent run it but its a t4 in disguise. if you want to race and your track doesnt mind go with that. for bashing or if your track doesnt want you to run it in spec slash and doesnt have a mod or stock class get a slash. imo get a sc10

The arms on the SC10's look awfully thin...there is alot of contact in the Slash class.....will the SC10 hold up?

As long as they stay out of the bash class.

Although the Slash has thicker arms the inside suspension pins spilt the arms easily as the plastic is soft and is not near as strong as the Ae plastic...

contact between cars will be no problem. If you land a jump wrong or drive into a barrier, anything can break depending on how hard you hit.

I haven't seen a night at my local club were a t4 hasn't broken an arm or shock tower or something mayjor that w/o the part ur done for the nite.

the slashes run the same track and the only rules we have are stock tires and chassi. I have yet to see anything other than a hub or spur gear break, no arms. so how would sc10 plastic be stronger?

I agree. The SC10 looks like the same arms as the T4, and now you have a lot more unsprung weight with the larger wheel & tire on it. I see snapped parts left and right from bad landings.

Well hell, w/ this coming to light, I think the SC10 should be allowed to race w/ the Slashs then. I mean as fragile as the SC10 is, the Slashs should easily wipe the field w/ them.

man you must have some crazt ass drivers at your track.ive seen T4 run many races without breaking anything.there is no way a traxxass will hold any better.not with their stock cheap plastic.seem like EVERYTIME my boy runs his traxxass it breaks something.
IMO the SC10 is were its at.at least until losi.and kyosho come out with a true CORR style truck.the losi doesnt even look like a corr or desert truck.and i dont think it should run with the sc10 or the slash.i mean its nothing more then the xxxt with lights and bumpers.

msot of the breakage is to the new guys. some of the kids just getting started miss the jumps and have headon crashes going the wrong way. but still I have seen the vets of the club break there fair share and now that some of them run slashes with us, they admit its far more durable that losi and ae. my son just got his slash 3 weeks ago and at 11 yrs old he finished 2 his 3rd night.
as far as ur shock caps, u can buy a set of 4 aluminum ones for a nitro hawk from rcplanet for about $9. solves that problem.
not everyone likes the slash, but everyone is titled to their own opinion
