How about the SC10 run all stock parts like the Slash class does?

Just plain rude. Are you even aware how slim the profit margin is on kits?

I guess 5%, if that depending on the volume they order from their distributor.

Hobby shops make money on spare parts and other items, not RTR vehicles. Unless they are selling them at MAP, which some still try to do.
not true when the kyosho zx-5 fs came out they were and still are 350-380$ when i know that they could of been sold for 320-330$ people got in trouble for selling them that cheap. so throw that 5% number out the window. your lhs or any hobby shop is gonna tell you that so they can make more $ and not look like a bad guy. everyone lies especially when its gonna benefit thier buisness.

I'm glad you know that they could have been sold cheaper.

And who got in trouble for selling them that "cheap"?

Typically a shop only gets in trouble is if they advertise under MAP. They can sell it for less, just not advertise it. What they make for profit is what they decide to sell it for...

I ran a Slash for a while so I know the weak spots ...
no fooling me

Rear suspension pins that unscrew or splitting the rear of the arm...
rear hub`s breaking
shock caps blow off
shock shafts that bend like baling wire...
spur gear
