does anyone know if the sc10 body will fit on the slash? and if so a picture of the sc10 body on the slash.

Also does the proline switch tires fit on the slash stock wheels ?

Man, that would be sick, I think it does but doesn't the SC10 have a roll cage?
And with the Switch wheels I think they could fit on the older slash rims, which I have, I don't know what the inner diameter of the Switch rim is, because the slash's new rims have a larger diameter on the inside than the outside, I think its to stop ballooning. so wait and see until someone else confirms all this stuff cause I'm most always defiantly wrong.

Rock Howart from AE has stated himself that the bodies for the Slash and SC10 are interchangeable, as are the tires.

I don't believe that the SC10 has a rollcage, just the SC8. I'm guessing just because of the lack of weight. Would it matter though? The rollcage is a "bolt-on" piece to the chassis, not the body. Or does the cage on the SC8 contain the body nounts?

The proline switch tires do not fit on the stock rims. They are made for the proline epic bead lock rims.

The SC8 can be used w/o the cage...I can see why one would want to use an sc10 body over the slash body...hopefully proline doesent make a body for the sc10 that looks cartoonie like the slash...no offense

Oh, because with the Losi DT, the body doesn't cover the roll cage, so saying if that were the same with the SC10's body it would leave a massive hole at the rear of the truck which would reveal the ESC, motor, diff and rear bumper etc...
I really hope that Proline or some third party brand makes a roll cage for the slash somehow, but it would make the slash so much heavier. The slash is just perfect stock, if you change anything, you change the whole way it handles. So imagine adding twice as much wait there is already at the rear of the slash...
It sags enough already

EDIT:

Damn, I just watched a video on youtube(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30h-l3dupOA) and looks like the SC10 won't be having a roll cage, which makes sense. But I wish somehow they had one...

For those that feel the need to install a Roll cage on your slashes:

http://r-cstore.com/store/product_in...roducts_id=235

I've been running mine for a few months now with all stock plastics and have had "0" failures. These little trucks are a blast to drive and take a pounding. The SC10 looks like it will give the Slash a real run for the money, but being based on the tried and true TC4 chassis I would imagine the SC10 will have the advantage...it will be fun to watch this evolve!
