There's no reason why it wouldn't fit. You might have to cut your battery spacers accordingly though.

for that much money you can get the smc 5200 24c for 79$ at stormerhobbies or anywhere just go to google shopping put in the smc 5200 24c battery and it will show up. personally i trust smc not to blow up in my car

You can get the SMC 5200 at dirtcheaprc.com for like $65 I think. And I have heard great stuff about the Hyperion Swift classic packs, which are literally in the shape of a 6 cell pack. Same wrapping. I can give you a small review in probably a week or two on them. They are $59 at rc-monster.com
