Just Got Me a XXX-T MF2
 

so yeah. my friend decided to hook me up with his xxx-t Mf2. comes with a 2400 battery, a stock motor and a Novak GTS Speed control. also gave me some newer Set of wheels. comes with a Spektrum servo lol. says its a standard race servo... what do you guys think? Is it club Race worthy? what would you guys suggest getting next for it?

The Orion Element 19t is a good motor. I would get a couple batteries before you get a brushless sytem. That 2400 sport pack isnt going to give it much power.

well if i get the brushless system. im getting lipo. but i have two 2400 packs for right now...

any one reccomend a good brushless set up to run the sotck class?
and a lipo to go with it.

the havoc is pretty good for the price(150) it comes with esc and u can choose a motor from 8.5. 10.5. 13.5 17.5 21.5 for stock a 17.5 is the motor u want.... and a lipo i would get like two orion 2400's what kind of 1/8 do u have for sale???? pm me

I remember when the first MF edition and BK edition came out. What ever happend to Francis and Kenwald. I quit when they were still around back in 01 and when I started back in 05 they were not around anymore.

The truck should be fine, I use to love mine, I had it dialed. I had the regular XXX-T though. I miss those days when electric was king :nod:

if money is an issue go with a refurb novak gtb and a NEW novak 17.5

The novak 17.5s are so sick dude. wicked power everywhere, can't go wrong with that combo.

Kinwald is still racing a little bit, I know he runs the X factory car now and Xray nitro stuff. (at least as far as I know)

Francis retired from rc racing. He ran the reedy onroad race I think it was last year, xray hooked him up with everything, he ran then gave it all back. Last time I talked to him he was selling real estate.

so 17.5 for sure. gotta start lookin for some deals!

best lipo for about 100 bucks tops? i want a decent amount of run time. something for stock class

Screw brushless? just buy me a lipo and the cut off for the esc? and buy a decent stock motor? the gts is a decnt brushed speed control. what should i do? thanks-mike
