Default Cell Matching, what is matched?

Hey all, just wanted to get some general info on cell matching.

Basically, what do they consider first to do there matching, ie- most important is first the runtime, then the voltage. etc.

Each matcher has different criteria. Internal resistance, Runtime and Average voltage are all important. Many match by IR first.

I personally match on all three. I like the packs I sell to have a voltage differential of .001-.003, a runtime variance of < 3 seconds and an AIR variance of .1-.2

It's important to match on multiple parameters to insure the pack performs well.

I think most importantly, and often overlooked is charge time. I would like a pack matched by charge time, then the other parameters. That way, you know none of the cells are being over charged while others aren't quite there yet. Also, Peak voltage would be nice.
