Default How do most of you set your servo horn on your b4?

Mine is straight up and down from the servo's center position. I'm also having a problem with my ds1015 fitting properly. It hits the steering rack when I turn and the buggy won't throw all the way left. To remedy this should I screw down the servo horn at more of angle so it has more room to throw left? Will it still have room to throw both ways? Also this ds1015 is a little big, I can't get the holes to line up on the bottom to screw it in, so I just used servo tape to hold it down. Is this how some of you do it?

I use a JR z590 servo with an aluminum servo arm. I would say you might want to invest in a new servo it you cant get that one to work properly.

I've tried 3 different servos and have had the same problem, so I think I'm doing something wrong by having the servo horn straight up and down as it's center position

Check the instructions on the proper spacers to use when mounting your servo.
On page 16 of the B4 instructions, there is a chart as to what spacers to use. The servo horn should be 1/8 of an inch right of center when viewed from the front of the car. Hope this helps.

Oh and are you referring to the inside edge of the horn? Or the middle?

I'm pretty sure I couldn't use the exact 90 degree horn position, because it didn't allow for even servo horn movement in both directions (same problem as you described).

I think I used the next position after the 90 degree one.

It did take me about 2 hours of tweaking to get the most effective/efficient steering servo configuration in my B4, as there was absolutely no space to spare, and I wanted to maximize the use of what was available.

Go back and center your servo out with the servo horn off. Then put it back togater. Also try messing with the expos and the D/R.

1015 is a tight fit, but that's what I run in mine... you just need to find the right shim to use between the servo ears and alum servo mounts. I think it's the medium shim.....

Right! And the problem I am having is that since it is such a tight fight, the car won't turn all the way left because the ball on the horn keeps hitting the steering rack, so I guess I need some shims and to find the sweet spot on the servo to mount the horn, so it throws the wheels EQUALLY in both directions. This sound about right?
