1512 In a Truggy
 

Will a 1512 "push" a truggy around on 5s? I am thinking a 1512 2.5D (2050kv) that I have laying around.

Sure, just gear a few teeth lower than you would normally gear a 1515.

With the newer lighter cars and trucks coming out, I wouldn't be surprised to see 1512's in trucks and 1509's in buggy's. It's the reason I bought the 1512 2.5D and 1515 2.0D for my Mugen conversions. They are both rated at 2050/kv and I plan on trying both motors in my MBX5T on 4S and 5S to see how they compare run time wise and powerwise. The MBX6T will be a LOT lighter like how the MBX6 is over the MBX5R so the 1512 should perform even better in the 6T. With mains at 10 minutes (once we have enough guys to have a class of our own) the required battery capacities will be much less. If you run a high efficiency setup the vehicles will be MUCH lighter with lower capacity packs as well thus teh need for less torque. The MBX6T with aluminum and Titanium hopups should weigh about the same as the older buggies (KII, KIII, Hyper7, etc) as well as some of the "heavier" newer cars. :)

I would think the optimum setup would be like a 8s 3kmah lipo & like a 6turn 1512.
