I think the b44 is the most populare, every time I have seen them they handle so well on any track really Or I have seen team Losi make a 4wd buggy not sure wht they are called though dont think they are as populare too

A big factor for me is I have stick-lipos. No saddle pack cars for me... Think about that unless you're going to buy new batterys!

I like my FS but i also drove dcoe15b's tamiya 501x wce pimp mobile and it felt good like my fs, prolly could run the same times with them.

Granted they are saddle but i must confess after running a stick pack car then converting to the saddles i think it's better. It has more traction that seems to just "add up" over the round or main. Problem i have with my car is i have trouble freeing up the rear on hair pins.

the 501x was alittle looser tonight.

I've got a Lazer SP that I've been very happy with. Like mentioned below, I've got an investment in stick packs and don't want to convert to saddle at this point or I'd have gotten an FS.

Honestly, any competitive kit can be made to run well given the proper driver and time spent tuning, its much more a matter of personal preference. I'd also heavily consider parts support in the decision.. 4wds are going to break more often than 2wd, etc (typically, though my Lazer has taken a beating) and if you're stuck waiting for parts because you cant get them at a LHS...

you guys make saddle packs out to be expensive. smc has them for 80$ or so. remember you only need one anymore is iceing on the cake. you can sell extra stick lipos you dont really need and buy one saddle. my pick is the fs. although if you're set on stick packs the sp all the way
