For a battery, look at the Promatch 7 cell Energ 4600 matched. And get 2 of them becasue your gonna need it!
Wrong. The speedcontrol is a mamba sidewinder. Buy a USB adapter kit for it and it links up to your PC for FULL programmibility.

Wrong! Did you read 2wdmod's post that I quoted?

"Man it will do 70 on a 3s lipo with zero hop-ups. Plus it comes with a speed control that will run any of the 3 types of motors out there(brushed, sensored brushless, or sensorless brushless) with the flux and the speed t you are pretty much stuck with sensorless brushless motors."

He was talking about the rustler vxl which has the VXL esc and ZERO programmibility.

oh well in that case...2wdmod is wrong then haha. The sidewinder/flux ESC can run brushed motors too, not just sensorless.

If you actually want it to be controllable and FUN, just get a 2s lipo. With 3s lipo, you will break soo many parts and It wont even be fun because you cant even control your vehicle.

Get a 3s 5000 or 3s 8000 pack. You should get about 30 minutes with a 3s 5000 pack. Probably around 40-45 minutes with a 3s 8000 pack. You can always dial down the speed on your transmitter if the 3s is too much speed or use lower gearing. You can make a faster pack slower, but the slow pack is just slow.

Get your lipo from truerc.net to save a few bucks. Really good packs for the money.

Are you trying to say it will only run a 27T brushed motor? If so that would be incorrect. In forward only it will run any 540 sized brushed motor. In forward/reverse it will handle down to a 19t.

here is a good charger. You will need a 12V power source however...i have 2 of these, and they work great.
