I'm still running box-stock and it handles well. You could just use the RC8 Worlds setup for nitro though. As for batteries, go with the SMC 5400 MAH 40c.

i just use ryan maifields world setup at rc10.com..it works for me...its nitro but rc8 and rc8e are the same buggy except for acouple components

Thanks Guys. Looks like i'll have to log a few (many!!) hours on RC10.com

What are the high wear, and/or breakable stuff on the car? I want to get some spares ordered.

x2 - Whats the weak parts on this car? I just last night picked up a roller that will be getting the tekno conversion. All in around $210 after conversion costs. Coming from Ofna I have zero parts for backup. Whats the usual if anything?

The usual parts with any car: front arms, front shock shafts. The front top plate if its the old plastic one. That's about all I've ever broken in 2 yrs of running the car.

plastic top plate..i recommend buy factory team alluminum and thats prety much the main part..i havent broke anything but i upgraded the front plate cuz i didnt want the risk
