Default How many batteries?

How many batteries are used in a typical year of practice and racing? Lipo # and NiMh #

Li-po you really only need about two but Ni-Mh you will need around four or five. I run my two wheel with 2 Li-po's and have not had a problem with anything. Plus they are so much easier to maintain then Ni-Mh.

for one car, you could do a year with one battery, you would ideally want 2 though. If you have 2 cars you can do a year on 2 batteries with lipos.

I have 1 LiPo for each of my off-road cars. 1 A123 for each of my breakout oval cars, I cycle through about 3 or 4 4-cell packs for my other oval cars in a given season.

A good LiPo will easily last you more than a season in any given car.

I have three Lipo's that I am using for 2 classes, and it is plenty, two are always ready while one is charging.

I have 2 LiPo's being used in 6 cars that get raced every weekend, both are over a year old with anywhere from 200-525 cycles on them.

Coincidentally they still run like a champ

well it all varies with how much you race and how you take care of your stuff
