Thunder Power Rc Hard Case 40C 7.4v 5000 racing Lipo question
Hello, I was looking on some feedback on this pack.
I'm wondering if 40c is well "too much" for racing in buggy/truck 10.5 turn. By too much, I mean things like heat/wear and tear on parts ect. Also, anyone know where to order more of these from? It seems everywhere I look for them they are sold out. |

A friend of mine is running it in is 2WD buggy with a 7.5 hacker brushless in it. The only issue he's had so far was a wheel pin braking, but I've done that with a Novak 13.5 so that may not be an issue. He did say however that he noticed a little more power/punch than with the SMC 5000 28c rated lipos. Here's a link that I followed from Hackers webpage, looks like you can get them there.

not worth it, in offroad we're all overpowered as is. its about smoothness, many of us use cheaper ~60-70dollar 4000s with no issues at all. trakpowers too. no need for all that stuff. shop has a bunch of those 40c's, they sat this wkend while the 4000 24c's went out the door.
