Thunder Power Rc Hard Case 40C 7.4v 5000 racing Lipo question

Hello, I was looking on some feedback on this pack.

I'm wondering if 40c is well "too much" for racing in buggy/truck 10.5 turn.

By too much, I mean things like heat/wear and tear on parts ect.

Also, anyone know where to order more of these from? It seems everywhere I look for them they are sold out.

In 10.5 you wont notice a difference. Especially in off road.. Lower turn motors, and on road maybe. But it wouldnt be to much. Would run just fine, no more or less wear then other lipos

A friend of mine is running it in is 2WD buggy with a 7.5 hacker brushless in it. The only issue he's had so far was a wheel pin braking, but I've done that with a Novak 13.5 so that may not be an issue. He did say however that he noticed a little more power/punch than with the SMC 5000 28c rated lipos. Here's a link that I followed from Hackers webpage, looks like you can get them there.

hope that helps.

not worth it, in offroad we're all overpowered as is. its about smoothness, many of us use cheaper ~60-70dollar 4000s with no issues at all. trakpowers too. no need for all that stuff. shop has a bunch of those 40c's, they sat this wkend while the 4000 24c's went out the door.
