if you liked the mamba just buy a larger kv motor.

where i drive is kinda like the desert, sand as far as you can see only less dry.
not a track, ist just for fun.
my budy drives a ezrun 60a with a 5.5t 6000kv and he is way faster.

i like the mamba max esc but its kinda disapionting that is not as fast as i hoped.

i was looking for the feigao 380c 6t or the medusa 36-50-4800
but i hope you can tell me wat motor would make me want trim down the throttle... even at 2s lipo.

thanks,

Sounds like you need an HPI Baja 5B where you're running.

Get a higher kV motor.

As big as you can afford. Really makes no difference if you're not racing

http://www.castlecreations.com/products/cms36-9000.html

I don't know how you are having fun with out it!

Why don't you get a 3 cell Li-po? That would make a lot of difference wouldn't it.

Make sure you are at least running a 2S LiPo.. you don't get anywhere near the performance with NiMH in my experience it just can't deliver the juice. And tires make a big difference too.. and check your gearing - what gearing do you have?.. theres alot more to it than just motor speed.

Next question is how fast is it going anyway and how fast do you want?

.. and yeh maybe you want a baja :P .. or a monster max in a 1/8.

No get the 4600KV motor. If you with a higher kv then you will have more wheel spin. And you said you race in dusty conditions so then with a higher kv motor then you won't have any traction.

grip is not a problem, i have about 50 sets to those from depending the wether.

i think about getting the 7700kv from cc, but there must be a better choice!
like the medusa 4pole or a feigao's

thanks for the input
