Losi XXX-T CR Diff

Opinions please? Who runs the extra diff ring spacers suggested in the instructions? If the only advantage to this is diff longevity and i sacrifice a stronger diff tightness what's everyones' opinion? I have been running mine but i'm tempted to try without.

I run mine with the spacers in but when we rebuilt my dads last season we left them out. There is not a noticeable performance difference. With or without, the diff still needs to be set to roughly the same tightness for the best performance and it can be achieved both ways. It is just a matter of wanting to take that small amount of weight out of the tranny.

If you're referring to the bronze spacers, I would use them. Put some diff lube between them and the diff ring. It gives a little bit of slip when extreme force is put on the diff. The diff doesn't wear out as quickly this way.
