T4 or B4

WHICH IS THE BEST?? and why???

Gabtech 10-23-2003 09:43 AM

these 2 cars look very nice but i wanna make always off-road and big jump.... mmmmm

TexRacer 10-24-2003 05:58 AM

Well it depends.Do you plan on racing or just playing?
If just playing they make the B4 in a RTR and not the T4.
If racing and new to this try the truck 1st.Lil easier and parts are usually more forgiving to new drivers.
Plus last check with your local track and see what classes the most are in.You wanna make sure that you investment has a class if racing.
Goodluck with your decision and 1 last thing.
Have LOTS AND LOTS of FUN.lol

For racing definitely look to see what they are running. I am at my track trying to get a buggy class going but not enough people interested. They like the buggies, but have money in trucks so its a no go.

losi4life 10-29-2003 08:02 PM

starting rc

are you just starting rc or have you been doing it for awhile. if you are just starting i suggest you get a truck. they are more stable and predictable than buggys also what kinda track are you gonna be running at

igkyoa 11-02-2003 01:19 PM

you should look at the local track if you want to race because if there is no buggy class then you should get a truck.

JoshR 85 11-04-2003 06:31 PM

HeY!!!

It depends if theres a class for both and if you can find setup for the B4 bcuz at my local track theres about 12 guys there that have B4 and they either have no steering to much steering or not enough accel. for the T4 including me theres 5 guys that have a T4 and we all have pretty good setup and are hooked up for past 2-5 weeks me last week. Thats why i choose the T4 mainly bcuz there's some really good people at my track and they can't get B4 to work the way they want, but you never know mayb it's the dirt or somethinglittle about the track and what you want or could get help w/ for it if you wanna race. If you wanna just bash the T4 bcuz it's more durable and stronger.

ruftnik 11-06-2003 01:52 AM

if i were you i would get a truck, its more stable and easy to drive than the buggy, but i don't own a t4, i own a xxxt.;)

Oasis 11-06-2003 02:11 PM

If your wanting to "bash" (big air etc.) I would go for the T4,For all around RC fun it's hard to beat a truck. To me a buggy is alot more race orientated,I'm not saying you cant play, but they tend to not hold up to abuse(or as much)as a truck. At most of the tracks I have raced at the biggest class is trucks. My choice would be a T4.

losi4life 11-06-2003 04:38 PM

screw t4

i say get a losi anything but mostly a matt francis xxx-t now that quality

Oasis 11-06-2003 05:21 PM

And at my track getting BEAT

losi4life 11-06-2003 05:51 PM

are there more t4 owners or xxxts running at your track

Buff 11-06-2003 08:13 PM

There USED to be a ton more Losi MF's, but not any more!! T4's now rule tha roost! T4's make tha MF's look like slugs...:D

Oasis 11-06-2003 08:29 PM

Right now their more xxxt/mf than T4's,I just sold my xxxkw and xxxtmf and bought a T4 and B4,the track I race at is more of an associated style track(like a freeway with jumps.. )For me I like racing buggy's more than trucks and for my style I like the associated more, not to say their is anything wrong with a Losi,I have been racing a Losi longer than almost anyone I know.

Buff 11-07-2003 08:22 AM

Good to hear stories like that.....makes me proud.....:p
