Default Maxamps 30C Lipo 6500 2S2P 7.4V Battery Pack

Anyone running this pack in a 1/10 car? I thinking about one of these for my RC10T4, currently I'm running the 2S 15C 4000mAh packs from Amain that are $35 each. They work awesome, I even raced with them today. But I'm looking for something with more punch. I was considering going with something 25C or 30C. I'm running a CC Sidewinder w/ a 5700kV motor.

The 5250 is 241 grams, the 6500 is 327 grams, nearly 1/4 lbs different. Will I even be able to tell a difference between these two batteries?

Again.. 45 minute run time? That's insane! I'm getting 20+ minutes out of my 15C 2S $35 batteries, but 45 minutes.. we only have 7-10 minute mains in 2WD truck here.

I guess it depends on the punch that it delivers. Is your motor right now even capable or maxing out the 15C capacity on the batteries you already have? If not, I can't imagine you would gain anything other than sick run times.

I'm running a 5200mah 28c and an 8000mah 20c from SMC (the 8000 is a demo pack). Run times are 27 and 42 minutes. The 5000 is a little quicker. I don't know if it's because of weight or discharge rate. I add weights to the car when I running the 5000 because it helps with traction. No weight needs to be added when running the 8000. I occasionally run 30 min mains in larger races against nitros. IMO the 6500mah pack would be perfect for that.

Thanks.. I honestly believe the punch of the 15C is enough for the T4, but I had to ask if there was a benefit in going with something with more punch. I think more weight would actually help my T4, as it's certainly not lacking in power.

The amount of punch is relative to the track conditions in some aspects. Can be over kill making more difficult to drive in theory.

I have the 4200 and they are awesome. I get 25 min of runtime in my truck with it...this pack would go longer.
