Default b4 gearing issues

alright guys here's my prob.... im running an associated ft b4.. i been in the hobby for a while and race frequently and cant quite figuere out gearing

its a novak 17.5 ... this motor has soo much torque... more than others
so 17.5 and 3800 30c lipo

any suggestions on gearing?

Without any modifications or extra parts use a 78 spur to the biggest pinion possible. ae will have a 72 and 75 spur out soon. A lot of people use a slipper eliminator or combine older parts to use standard spurs and use around 65-69 spur to a 32-36 pinion.

I was running the Slipper eliminator from the link above. I ran a 69/35 gearing and it really brought the 17.5 motor to life.
