Chazz, specail delivery coming your way via USPS. Should be there Thursday or so.

Dan, what are you running for tires and inserts at CRCRC?

I was trying to get into the build manual on your website, but says it I can't view it because the link can not be found. I need the extra gear for the transmission that comes with the X-60 kit. I have all the other pieces insidethe trans/diff for it. What is the number for the 4th gear? Is it the same as one of the other idler gears?

Thanks,
Stephen

The 4th gear should come with the kit. And yes it's just another idler gear.

Where were you trying to find the instructions? I just checked both the X - 60 and X - 6 Squared instructions on the site and they worked fine for me: http://www.xfactoryrc.com/rc/Tech/In....php#X60Manual

To answer your question, X60Driver is right both idler gears in the transmission are part # AE 9360 Idler Gears.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking under the x-factory store under kits and there was a hyper link for the manual there. My transmission was really notchy, so I am replacing all the bearings and gear in the trans, and completely rebuilding the diff while I am in it.

Ah, thanks, I'll have to fix that so it points to the right location.

The wires should be fine, I run a Trinity pack with the same sort of wires, they exit near the endbell of the motor, height wise I don't know as I only run small packs in my X-6^2

Default motor choice

Getting my X60 put back togther in the next couple days. I have access to a Castle Sidewinder/5700kv combo and a Novak GTB/13.5 Ballistic combo. I can change the rotor/stator in the Ballistic motor to a different turn if neccessary. The tracks local to me run mod class so I can run either one. Which one of these 2 would you run.
Right now I am running a brushed Reedy motor (not sure of the turn) in my other T4, and it seems to be almost enough motor. Could use a little more every now and then ya know.
What esc/motor combo is in your trucks? I tried the search this thread option but didn't have a lot of luck.
Lastly, how fast do you get parts shipped out once they have been ordered from your website.

Thanks,
Stephen

The 5700 is a ton of motor to much for 2wd IMO I would go with the 13.5 unless the track is massive. I run a 10.5 in my truck and it is great on a small/mid sized track.

This is a vid of the size track I am referring to most people run 8.5 to 13.5 in mod.

Yep it is getting better it is not a x60 but getting close The 4 geat trans made a huge difference.

ROAR Region 8 race this weekend at SmacTrac I am going to do my best to get a good showing for the x-6 in stock buggy.
