br93lx - where do you usually race? I see your Location is "Louisville"; I race up in that S. Indiana/S. Illinois region a few times a year.
I usually go to P&T Hobbies in Mitchell, Indiana. We haven't had a 1/10 scale track in Louisville since Pro Track closed in the mid 90's. I haven't been up too much this year, that two hour drive each way sucks.
If you know of any other tracks about the same distance let me know, I'm always up for something different.
I'm thinking about doing the Winter Blast in Albion coming up; its the weekend after next. Its a nice pink taper pin track, and there was a decent turn out last year for the race.
My "home track" at the moment is Thunder R/C here in Nashville; that'd be a longer drive for you though and the turn outs are kinda this season.
Otherwise there's a group of guys from Nashville who race up at Reo raceway once a month or so; I try to tag along when I can. They only have an electric truck and slash class though, everything else is nitro. Pretty nice facility though and decent turn outs.

Yeah, that's the other reason I haven't been too much, every time I go there are only three or four 4wd's. After I get back from Spring Training I might try going to Nashville. It isn't much further than what I drive now. When you get a chance tell your dad to send me an email. I think it's about time for him to replace those T-shirts I got him.
Dan pm'd me and asked for my current X - 5 setup, so I figured I'd post it here:
Front: CL middle hole, 0 washers (stock height spindle), Alum CVD's, diff with plastic outdrives, 1 bump-steer washer, E-Speed steering rack
Shocks: 57(black) with 35 wt, Orange spring, 2/1 mounting, .090" inside limiting, overall droop length (screw center to screw center) is 2.92".
Rear: XXX 'CR' arms, XX 'CR' hub carriers. CL is Mid Row, 2nd hole from outside, C hole in hub, 0 deg antisquat blocks w/ one washer under the front, hubs centered, .055" swaybar, steel dogbones with plastic outdrives.
Shocks: 55(orange) with 37.5 wt, Pink spring, 2/3 mounting, .060" inside, Overall droop length is 4.00" (screw center to screw center).
Driveshafts level all around, SMC4100 Lipo down the right side with CF battery strap, GTB on the left side where the two cells went, I added weight so its 1700 grams total - I think ~4 oz on top of the battery across from the motor and 3 oz between the speedo and the motor.
Alternatively you can run a one-way up front with the standard steering set-up (inside ackerman hole). This will have a little sharper turn in but less mid-corner steering.

Is this Brian? What do you think an unused box of 32" Pro Stock M110 is worth? Wife wants me to sell 'em. Too old to play now.
I was thinking of coming to Albion to race that weekend with Paul, and would be happy to bring you a shirt -- exchange of course -- but I am chairman for Feb of a group that meets on Sat night, so I've got to stay home. Besides, there would be a lot of unhappy Family members if I were caught out playing when the X - 6 Squared was not shipped...
I consider you a "sponsor" and always wear one of your shirts on the first day of practice.
We've got to set up a race where you, Paul, and I can get together. Want very much to meet you in person.

Pro Stocks are pretty cheap these days, with all the boutique bat makers now there are a lot more choices with lower costs of the higher end wood bats. I would say $15-$20 a piece. You can probably unload them at a "Play it Again Sports or the like. Might even try Ebay.
I have the same problem, work is killing all my free time. There are new rules that MLB has instituted so we've been playing catch up on production for Spring Training, been going at it 6 days a week plus paperwork at night. Then I leave for 4 weeks to visit the teams in Spring Training. I pretty much won't be able to do anything until sometime past Opening Day
I can just ship you a couple more
Yeah, I'm going to try and get up to Columbus one of these weekends. I've been up a few times for concerts but the wife hasn something against going racing the next morning...
We hope to finish the last Kit bags on Wednesday morning and begin shipping that day. First shipments will go to our distributors so they can unpack and begin the work of getting Kits to their dealers. By Friday we expect to begin shipping to dealers, and if all goes well, the X - 6 Squared will be announced on our web sites Monday.
Fastest way to get your Squared is from your local hobby store. If they don't carry X Factory, have the owner contact us.

Ah, the magic box you sent me. :-)
Brian,
If you are down in Tucson for spring training, check out Competition Hobbies. X Factory Team drivers Brian Kinwald and Alex Krieg are found there on most Friday nights along with me, fabber of parts and writer of manuals for X Factory. PM me if you can come by so Alex and I can be sure to be there.
