Losi has its roots in 1/10 scale electric. More recently they have branched out to different r/c markets (1/8 scale, RTR, etc.) They are producing cars that consumers want and i'm sure the sales reflect that. Losi certainly has not forgotten about electric racing. In fact they have begun producing a number of products under the Losi name that are specifically geared toward electric racers. These include the Losi Xcelorin brushless speed controls and motors as well as the Losi LiPo batteries.

A good few years back id say yes but crime is a fact of life anywhere in the world.
Look at the 2006 1/8 offroad worlds, lots of guys from the US and Europe where scared to go due to terrorism, it turned out to be one of if not teh best Worlds they had attended and better than the event hosted in the US last year.
The venue for the worlds is located in a good area so doubt its a issue although there will be security etc.. in place.
You cant get lost or confused since we speak english too
More info will be posted shortly on www.trap.co.za or http://www.offroadepworlds09.co.za

vote for a relative 'unknown', at least to US drivers. 1 that will have the car set to the track on just another level from any1 else.
