XXX-T CR Problem
 

My trucks diff nut is coming lose when i run for a minute. I have locktite the nut and screw. slipper is pretty loose and im running 10.5 lipo setup. cant be to much power because im running same setups as everyone else.:weird: I have rebuilt diff many times, maybe its the diff bals or the shims are bad. IDK, i dont have good luck with this car so im about ready to lock the diff right now. Please help me. Thanks

well, you may have stripped the screw or nut. it is very fragile when it it over tightened. ive done it before. are you sure the nut if coming loose?

Stripped as stated earlier
Bad thrust bearing (forces screw to turn)
Wore out diff nut

yeah try a new nut and screw....then tighten the diff down fairly tight cause as soon as you hit the gas it will loosen

Same thing was happening to me and it was a bad diff nut and a crunchy thrust bearing. Also make sure that the diff assembly is shimmed in the trans case correctly. If it moves between the bearings the diff will slip more and need to be tighter. I went through a lot of diff balls and thrust washers before figuring out I needed to shim.
