how to atach a fan to ESC?
 

hi, i bought a waterproof XL-5 ESC for my rustler, i dont want to burn it or anything so i fould this little fan that i want to put on it so it will take some heat away. i know how to mount it but how do you connect it to the power source? do i need to use any resistors or diodes?
any help will be appriciated.

If it is a 12v fan you can splice righ into the battery wires. If it is a 6v fan then you need to put a servo connector on it and plug it into your reviever.
