Version 198 for the Rx8 has a higher max custom voltage cutoff.
We removed the new software from the website because it had a small bug for the 1S checkbox in the RS. All the Rx8 stuff is fine and we can send it to anyone that needs 198. We just do not want this version spread everywhere so we can fix it first. We will have it posted correctly next week.
We will put the new version ( with the RS bug for the 1S checkbox) back on the web as BETA version today since their does not appear to be any problems with the RX8 interface and people need the 198 with higher VC levels. Please come back and get the new version next week.
Randy, I am looking to purchase 2 Tekin systems one for my new Losi 8ight E2.0 and a Tekno MBX5T conversion. I am not sure what is the best system for each and how many cell battries to run.
I am looking for spare fans for the RX8 esc but the only ones i have found have the wrong connector or no connector. I would like to have complete fan assemblies as spares but i need to know what type of connector to order. Any ideas?
Jet, I'd run either the 1900 or 2050 on 4s. That is what most people are landing on right now. Both work great on 4s. The 1900 also does really well on 5s should you choose to go that route down the road.
The 1900 is butter smooth and has a nice linear powerband. The 2050 is great for larger tracks or for guys that like a ton of power!

I have been running th 1900, but just bought a 1700 motor to try with it as well. 1900 is pretty powerfull on 5s. A little more than I bargained for, but temps and all are still perfect. Was under 130 after the 15 minute main.
