Hey play nice guys. We all started out somewhere. At least he's got the right mind set and spent the good money where it counts!

The instillation is clean and well done.

With the offset center diff, the motor needs to be on the other side... to help make room for a battery and not have it way out on the mud guard. I would say just start on the new mount and put the battery where the motor is... you will be glad you did it now instead of waiting and redoing the whole thing

Dint mean any of that to be laughing at anyone. Just observing. My first e-1/8 was an Ofna MBX, old airplane brushless esc (no brakes), a feigao motor, and a piar of 6 cell Nimh battery packs zip tied to the mud guards, so your already WAY ahead of where I started.

Today race on my local track. This is my second time run on this track and also 4th off road run in last 5 years. I mainly race 1/10 on road. Today I make the track record with h9e, rx8 and 1700kv with 4s. Beat the fastest nitro guy in the local club. Thanks tekin.
btw. I live in china.

Default Rx8 stuttering when on throttle

Bought my Rx8 on Jun 8th and i have about five hours driving time on it, I am using 4S lipos with a T8 2250 and it had been working just fine up till yesterday when after about twelve minutes of driving on a 6500mAh battery i felt the car cut out like i had hit a voltage cut off so i stopped and brought the car inside.

After changing the battery and letting the car cool down i went out to drive with a fresh 5250 pack and soon as i punched the throttle the car still had the same stutter and only felt like it was running at about 60% power.

Any ideas what it could be before i send it in for a service check? I have Hotwire and had set the cut off at 4 and not changed any other settings, the motor and ESC have not been over heated as i am running 14/50 gearing on a 8T and it hardly gets warm.

Thank you for any help, been loving the Tekin Esc/Motor other then this issue.

Hi,
I'm French, and I have ordered a RX8 ESC, but I had before a Xcelorin 1/8 ESC.
For my Xcelorin I had built a part to prevent against stones. It's a plastic circle and it can be fixed by the 4 fan screws. Then I would like to use it for the RX8 I have ordered. Can you tell me guys the distance between the opposite screws of the RX8 fan ? My part as like the Losi Xcelorin fan, has a distance of 34 millimeters between the opposite screws.

Thanks

Sylvéris-

It is 36mm from center of each Allen bolt to the other, if by 34mm you mean the inside edge of the screw hole then it should be correct.
