Make sure your battery is fully charged. If it is a new battery it my have falsed peaked. with a dead battery they will sometimes do what you described.

I checked everything and even tried a different battery. The hobby shop where I got it wasnt much help and wouldnt exchange it. (shoulda known better to stop there to begin with) I called Traxxas and they believe its a faulty ESC so I am sending it out.

Your hobby should honor your return with a receipt? I would never shop there again.

Just for the heck of it I got on the site for a local track where I used to race and asked them if I should demand an exchange before I started sending parts out. Long story short....they told me to check the receiver. I switched out the radio with an old one from my Revo and BAM! It worked! I plan on putting my 3PM in it anyway so I should be good to go.
