Default What gearing do i need? 1/8 scale elect

I converted a jammin crt x1 to electric and got a friego 8xl and a mamba monster esc. The middle gear is stock ( not sure what stock is ) .
The track is a 1/10 scale track kinda tight with a 150' long straight.

Also is there a plastic middle gear that will hold up? The metal to metal gears are way to loud..

Thanks

The kyosho plastic spur, 46T is a popular option to use instead of the steel center in these conversions. You should post your question in the electric 1/8 scale thread to confirm if the jammin diff lines up correctly with the gear.

As for gearing, there is a website that the electric 1/8 scale thread can refer you to as well so you can punch in your setup and get some numbers out telling you what to expect speedwise based on your setup and gearing.
