just checking in to see how every ones caster fusions are holding up, now that mine has a few races under its belt, the car seems to be loosening up and not feal so stiff..its kinda falling into its groove.

Also the guys who plan on running it in the cold (40 and below) id highley recommend boiling the front and rear control arms and hubs in water for 15-20 minutes. The parts hold up great in the warm but seem to become a little to stiff when it gets cold!

Mines doing great!!! I bring a heating pad and let the car sit on that before and between races with a towel over the top to keep the heat in. I also keep my tires warm as well.

Works great.

Don't mind me asking. In Singapore, the temps abt 30-33 celsius. Would I need to warm my EX1?

I just noticed this week that one of my trays is broken up front by the center diff. Glad I got a extra set. I am wondering like you said, if you lawn dart hard enough the weight of the batteries will crack the trays. I know I have seen conversions use velcro straps. I wonder if there is a way to strap them in, instead of using the trays if that would be better or not. Just an idea.

If you put velcro on the battery and in the tray it will stop the battery from sliding forward and breaking the tray.

The three Velcro strap system (Tekno) works best. Be aware, that if you use velcro on the tray and bottom of soft case lipos and lawn dart the battery will push it's way out of the soft case if battery is not secure enough front to rear.
