can you attach the pics to the thread? I can't get the links to work for some reason. They just don't pull up anything.
As for the 4S adapter from 2 2S packs, definitely on our own with making that. Two manufacturers I contacted were unwilling to make the adapters due to liability issues from what I understand.

i would post pics to the thread if some one can tell me how to reduce the file size so i can post em here
Any ways just got home from practice with the EX1R buggy and heres what i found!! i probably drove the buggy nearly 1 and 1/2 hours straight and gave it a good a$$ kickin in the process just to see if its gonna hold up
the good:
- super smooth buggy with a very free drive train
-rear end stays planted even under hard acceleration
-jumps very well and balanced
-very good acceleration (good over all gear ratio for electric)
-tracks straight at high speeds and dosnt have a tendency to "wander"
-low CG of car and battery lay out really lets you push it hard around tight turns with out fear of traction rolling
-very stable and didnt really get upset easy, and when it did it settle's back down pretty quick and lets you get back on the gas rather quickly
-pretty confidence inspiring race car
-took a good beating, purposely over shot and lawn darted some jumps (well most of em were on purpose ) hit the wall a few times at high speeds broke one ball end( see below)
The bad:
-car has a tendency to wanna push or over steer..could be my tire choice?
-needs more steering, out doors im sure it would be fine, but for our indoor track with lots of 180's it could use a little more
-broke a steering ball link( was warned about this but i gave em a shot anyways) if i were you i would just go ahead and replace them right away with stock shock ends. once you see one you will see were its destined to fail.

Question about the RC8 body
Does it leave some of the battery exposed at the rear? I checked one out at the LHS and it didn't seem like it would be long enough at the rear.
So I didn't get one... yet.
yoshgixxer, sent you a pm

I ordered my car yesterday, so it should be on it's way soon. I will be running on a tight indoor clay track www.arcshobbies.com so I will be lookin for steering as well. Please continue to post your set if you make changes.
Thanks,
Doug

badassrevo---a good tire for indoor clay is the panther switch 2.0...the clay compound tire works good..but the soft's work better if you can afford to replace the tires every 2 or 3 races.......thats of coarse if you guys arnt running slicks
like i said earlier my car did have some push or over steer..it might of just been the medium compound tires i was running,(dont like killin good tires for practice!) im gonna run the soft's this week end just to see if it was the car or the tires...

I've been hearing a lot about the Slicks lately. Are those legal to run?
#28
slicks are legal, they work great if they clay has been watered.a pair of grinded down m3 compound tire like a bow tie or crime fighter's works great...especially if you treat em with diesel
i run the max amps 6500 hc's when i need to surely last 25+ minutes, but most of the winter i will run my smc 5200 hard case lipo's.there rated at 25c so they really rip,so not a bad deal at $80 a pack
i love pink tapers too...but i hate how they last one race day

Maybe that was just a local track's rules for 10th scale some years back...
I may have to get a pair to test out.
