4wd or 2wd? If 4wd go with the TC spec sphere. If 2wd go with the sphere comp or novak gtb. Both are great. Sphere is a bit smoother.

Go with the sidewinder, it's cheaper.

Go with the MM, it is a very robust controller and can be used for a variety of applications. The Sidewinder is similiar, but the power capability is lower and the price of the MM really isn't that high. $130 for a controller that can run just about anything.

I would highly recommend the Tekin R1 with the Redline 632 or 537 motor. The speedo has so many great features and can be tuned pretty much any way you like. The onboard programming works fantastic. I put this setup in a Slash for bashing around and it is a lot of fun. It has a lot of torque so you can gear up. if you are looking for extreme speeds you could use the R1 Pro with a faster Redline motor but the R1 is less expensive than the Pro and has all of the same features. Although it does have the 5t limit but that is plenty quick

for bashing, I would give a nod to the MM as you have A LOT of adjustability in the ESC and its pretty robust. If running mod, I would also not have any issues running a MM system. Currently though for lower kv classes like stock it doesn't run the motors as well as sensored systems. I believe Castle is making a sensored ESC however.

Hi guys, may i know if I pair up MM with Feigao 9XL is a good idea for Jammin CRT.5? May I know MM do have output for the cooling fan and built in Lipo cutoff? MM max can use 3c Lipo, right? Thanks.

I know the guys are working on something but even I don't know exactly what it is til one shows up at my house. I just run the Sidewinder and MM setups til then. I have had nothing but great results using the Castle products.

To me bang for the dollar is it just tough to beat a Sidewinder system. All the systems out for the most part are very good. Are 3 local shops all support Castle and a few other brands as well. The owners do a great job also explaining the whole ROAR thing to customers before selling brushless systems.
