i think you will want to put a 17.5 in looks like stock truck has a big turn out., 13.5 would have to run in mod, i think.

You might as well just run mod and keep the 13.5 in. That's what most of the mod guys do anyways.

Last points race of the season is March 7 with a fun day the following Saturday. Don't miss out on the last of the fun for this winter...

The map and details are on the above link, the short version is the track is off Ann Arbor-Saline Rd at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds, a few miles South of I-94 (you can find it easy enough from MapQuest).

Hope to see ya.

Wow, thats a fast responce !

Just looked at the map, thats 1.5 to 2 hours from my house. Just a bit out of my reach. Oh well.

Level-4....you run dirt? Sorry, 17.5 in truck is like 17.5/1c in 1/12. I would have to run mod.

???Ann arbor is 2 hours from sterling heights????Nah, an hour tops. I can make it from my house to my Aunts in sterling heights in an hour and a half ,and I am 45min west of washtenaw.Come on out and play in the dirt with us, it's a fun long day for sure.

to elaborate a little more on directions; It will be exit#75 ann-arbor saline rd.
take ann arbor-saline rd south. through 4 traffic lights until you get to the 3 way stop sign, turn left.go through the next traffic light and the farm council buildings will be on the left. you are there. The track is almost to the end of the row of buildings right across from the restroom building.Building F i do beleive.

I live just north of Sterling Heights and I was thinking of checking this place out. It is kind of far though. Maybe next year.

You race at Larry's? I just ordered a Slash and I'm thinking of racing there. I went and watched one Tuesday night and it looked like a lot of fun.

I'm going to be picking up a T4 or B4. What nights do they race the stadium trucks and buggies? Do you guys have to run foam or rubber? Is it all 13.5 motors?

Thanks!

Sunday and Tue are stadium. Buggys are stock with foam and trucks are 13.5 with rubber, have seen one or two run foams though. The jumps are really good this year. Getting better every race. Tons of fun, come on out.

Hey, come check out sunday and say Hi. Look for a metalic blue T4 with avid stickers on the side.

Ive been out of dirt for a while so I will have to look up a few of those. Is there a layer of dust or dirt over the track? Or do you sweep it? From the vid it looks slippery, kinda hard packed but not clay.

Thanks

I can't get out there this Sunday but I'll come check it out on Tuesday. Waiting for my Fabtech Slash and DX3S to get here and I'm bidding on a FT T4 on Ebay that's up tomorrow. Got my Lipos though!

Should be another week and I'll have my stuff.

It is hardpacked "Clayish" soil. And you are right on the money, it can be slick at times. The track gets swept off between rounds and mid round. With 150-200 entries per race day though, It kinda depends on where in the line-up your qualifier is in relation to the sweep and water , and which tires you run.I run holeshots because they hook up nice when moist , and also hook up good if your qualifier ends up being just before the sweep/water rotoation. So the lugs are tall enough if you get stuck with a dusty track for your run you still get pretty predictable traction.
