How come you went 4+1 with the battery? Why not go three side by side on the left side and two on the motor side of the car?

Looks good though, let us know how it drives. Nice work.

Without the front diff there is a lot of strain on the rear diff, thats why all the other 2wd mid motor cars have a 3 gear tranny.

2wd cars, both mid and rear motor have 3 gear transmissions so the diff can be a small enough diameter to locate the outdrives low enough to allow good dog bone geometry, also because the gears are more durable.

Thomas,
Very nicely done! When I was younger and Stadium trucks were just starting to get popular I made a custom Kyosho Stadium truck. I took and Ultima ProXL chassis and ussd Triumph Suspension arms and tranny. The wheel base was a little short but the truck ended up being somewhere around 13" and handles great. The only problem I had was the dog bones. I had to custom fab a pair and it took me a few tries to get it done. Any way, very nocely done again. Looks like it would be a fun car to drive.

Now that's a jump you don't want to end up jumping short.

I'd like to see a video of this car in action.
