I just install a new HCR head and am having probs ,,,,,it is "spitting" gas from under the head and NOT starting,,,this is on a Stock 2.5

Did u tranfer the shims from the old head to the new one?

I have one aftermarket head and you have to be mroe careful when tightening them making sure to do the X pattern way and only sung it up a little every round then like 3rd round can crank it to ensure the head stays square and seals good.

check to see if you have enough shims and to make sure the head gasket is sealing...
