The A mains in rookie stock were very competitive, there were some pretty darn good drivers there and you really couldn't make any major mistakes, or you were done for. Casey Becica, who won the whole thing, had a full season of the JBRL under his belt and it showed, I would have had to drive as perfectly as I possibly could to catch him. I didn't make any big mistakes in my two second place finishes, but I did scrub too much speed here and there with little slide-outs and whatnot. My first race, I finished within six seconds of him...the second one was more like half a lap behind. Third race was a hackfest best forgotten
It was a good time all around though, it really raised my level...and spending that much time watching the GOOD drivers running on the track really opened my eyes about a lot of little things when it comes to driving. So it was an education!
