Hello...

Anyone running a RC10 Gold Tub? I just bought one and I wanted to race it in the current 2WD stock class at our track. It comes with one of the early stealth transmissions, but I wanted to update the tranny. Someone told me that you can drop a B4 tranny in it. But in looking at it they mount differently. Anyone try this? ANyone have any ideas on updating the existing tranny?

I plan to run a 13.5 Novak through it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The stealth tranny in the old RC10 works as well as the new one one the B4. I would not update anything unless it has worn parts and I would just replace them. I might update the slipper. The one top shaft from the B4 fits if I am thinking right. Your biggest issue would be a gear cover to go over the double pad slipper. Losi made one for the hydra conversion for the RC 10 years ago. RPM may have made one but I am not sure. I actually think I have a top shaft (new style) for a RC10 and a gear cover somewhere in my old stuff.
