Default broken batteries!!!???

I'm completely stumped on this, I have a stampede with a mamba 4600/5700 motor. I am physically breaking the battery packs, I build them myself and shoo goo them together and after one run they banana and fly out, my solders aren't breaking, the deans batt bars are bending and the battery hold down is tight.

40mph into a curb, no damage to the truck, but batteryes are mangled
I'll try to get some pics soon but I work tonight

WOW! That's impressive... Might want to try shoe gooing some kind of brace to help strengthen it.

40MPH into a kerb!, sheeezus. I'm surprised the whole thing doesn't explode!

Try to think of an analogy like being in a car. Hit a concrete wall head on at high speed and the chassis transfers a lot of energy around it for little damage, but the poor passenger with just a safety belt on wants to keep going straight ahead.

USUALLY, the people get pretty banged up. Your battery is the person

Momentum buddy, can't fight it.

The stampede chassis is plastic and in crashes it flexes bending the batts so you need some metal strips to strengthen or an flm alloy chassis!
