Hobbywing EzRun 60A Sensorless???

Can I run the Hobbywing 60A ezrun which is sensorless with a Novak 10.5 which I believe is sensored. I was told I could by just not using the sensor wire. Is this true and if so will it run the same. What are some good sensorless motors.

yes it will work its not perfect you will have to turn punch down to 1 value on the speedo
go for a sensorless motor Im running Tekin Redline sensorless motor with the
Hobbywing 60A ezrun no worries

The Redline motors are a good choice with this controller and all the rest. We recently lowered the price and plan to be more aggressive so people understand they are compatible with all sensorless controllers and RTR's.

Of course we would rather see you running a R1 speedo. We recently reduced the price of our R1 systems with redline motors significantly and it comes with support, features, performance, updateable and the cool factor.

+1 for the R1 it is a great esc. I had one in my t4 with a 537 tekin motor. it was very smooth and fast
Sensored motors and esc will generally have a bit more punch on the bottom.

but if you are running mod you normally run with less punch anyway because you want controllable fast power NOT ballistic missile bounce off the wall power.
