Default WHAT IS THE HOT NEW BRUSHLESS COMBO??????

Just curious what is the hot new brushless coombo out there????
I am looking at 13.5 and 17.5, the 13.5 would be for the midwest races coming up in January. Also who's got the best speedo, Tekin, Novak or LRP???? Any info would be appreciated, I am old school and I ready to make the change.

What class are you wanting to run? Stock, Super Stock, Mod; what classes are offered at that race?

You are going to get every answer under the sun on what is best. Those discussions have been on at least a half dozen of these threads. I would buy what you are comfortable with or what is used most at your local track. Also if track rules require sensored motors and ESCs, Mambas would not qualify.

Take a look at the Venom systems.... I just made the switch from Novak stuff. Theyre systems come with the programmer that makes changes in seconds compared to the rest.

I recommend going with a sensorless system as they can run both sensored and sensorless motors. For example:

Tekin R1 and RS
SpeedPassion
GM

Tekin RS Pro is the bomb. Can't beat its flexibility to run just about any motor out there. The adjustable timing for hybrid mode is very handy.

rofl, I know where the venom controls came from after seeing that programer. However, they are a top notch control and if they are supported the same way as the true source of the controller is then they will far exceed the venom quality that people have come to recognize.

its the same as speed passion, GM etc... just re-badged like 90% of everything out there nowa days. just like LRP and Nosram

timing is adjustable on the venom... which is a handy feature I've never messed with before saturday

The tekin stuff is nice and I considered it last week also... but you gotta have a laptop to really get in there and change stuff turned me off and also the sticker price... wow

GM is by far a re-badged controller. Similar to Schultz it's been in the brushless rc scene way before speedpassion's manufacturer/supplier ever was.

Built from the ground up this is their current top of the line sensorless/hybrid powerhouse:

They too carry a mini hand held programmer in addition to a computer interface.

That one looks nice too.... looks to run about the same capacitor package only on the main board rather than separate like the venom
