Default Grasshopper getting tires over the rims

Man are my hands sore!! I have been trying forever to get my new rear spiked tires over the rims on my original grasshopper and I can't hardly do it. anyone have a trick? Im afraid to wedge it with a screwdriver and bend the rim. suggestions?

stick the tyres in a bowl of boiling water for 5 mins, that will softenen them enough to stretch them over

Grasshopper rims are 3 piece. Just take out the 5 screws and insert the center into the rim then screw back together the front and back sides. No need to stretch at all.
