pics of my Academy truggy conversion

Well, several years ago I bought this buggy but never used it...I have several 1/5 scale trucks I play with and just never really played with this one...The buggy is a Academy sb sport...I dont race so dont really need the race version so this one was right for me....I installed so reservoir shocks that I had, installed 2.2 truck wheels on all 4 corners, universal body posts and installed a truck body....The power comes from a Castle Mamaba Maxx 7700 and is more then enough for what i do...Oh well here are a few pics i took of the beater..

Looks great and I'm sure it's fast with the 7700.

Is there another body that fits better? Too high, another car can fit in there in a crash. :( Otherwise it looks good but can't race it, good for bashing.

jamminnay 09-28-2008 12:53 PM

yeah another body would look better.. a mini str looking body would be sweet!!!

yep, that body would look way sweeter on there if you could lower it a CM or 2.
