Since I am nit-picking....
Traxxas plugs only? What about the bullet connectors on the stock motor (spec)? What about moving the electronics (moving the speedo closer to the motor to eliminate the need for the bullet connectors)?
I have read to adjust the rear campber links to the upper hole, that the rear shock tower needs to be ground down a bit, is this considered a modification?
I dont want this to sound negative, just trying to make sure "we" dont show up to race a class and be moved up or not allowed to run because of small changes done to the truck for conveinence.

This race sounds great but many of us will actually have to buy more stuff just to run this race. IE Factory assemled NmH battery. So if Keith build your pack does that count as Factory assembl

Yes unfortunately it seems like that is the case. We are still two weeks out and we can still modify the rules. Tom is in Vegas right now and I will get with him later this week on some of these questions. No reason not to allow lipos and I am not sure who made that decision. It is the Spec class and you have the option of moving to the open class that allows both Lipo and Nmh.

Last night Andy did confirm that all classes (including Spec) can use matched packs but it was necessary to use the Traxxas connector on the packs. After all Traxxas is sponsoring the event...... I asked him several times about this rule as we don't want to show up with our packs and then find out we have to buy stick packs in order to compete in the race......
