I have heard alot of people having problems with the Hitecs but I have the 645, 5645, and 5625 and have had no problems with any of them. If I were to buy another servo I would go with JR though because of their 3 year warranty. I also have a high speed Futaba servo (I can't remember the number) but I have been using it for 2 years with no problems at all.

Which hitec ?

A hitec 645 sucks i wouldn't put that in my race vehicle. Maybe a car to mess around with.

If you feel like you have to turn before the corner that would be a inadequate servo.

I would check your servo saver.

Look in my posts in the b4/t4 forum i posted the set-up i run in there and its so dialed. Tons of steering. If you don't find it lemme know.
