Default MRC World Scale Cars - (Thunder/Baja King)

If anyone out there is still running some of these cars, I came accross some things in the warehouse you might be intersted in. Send me a PM and I'll let you know what I got.

tim it sure would be cool if mrc came back with a re-release on these given the popularity of 1/8 electric right now.with the new motors and batteries they sure would be fun!

If you have one of the trucks, I could run that in the MT class. Its legal to run electric this winter there.

there's a flashback. even the pros had a couple races with them regardless of their main sponsors. kinda like slash races now. they were in the mags. folks pickin diff batt/motor strategies to make the time. a good idea ahead of its time.

I would love to get a desert thunder buggy. I see world scale's on ebay from time to time but if I got one....I'd want to run it and then I would break something. I imagine parts are really hard to come by unless you get lucky and run into the original poster for example.

These MRC Thunder Kings are awsome, and if you have a little bit of time and patience. You can do this to one. Hands down the best truck ever and I wish they would bring them back.

Is it possible to buy some parts to do this or a full on conversion? wouldn't mind picking up the stuff to have a one of a kind electric MT.

Sorry the original post was a little vague. I have complete electric chassis', no wheels, tires, bodies, or electrics. Brand new, but otherwise complete. I think there may be stock motors in them, but that would be about it. Let me know if anyone is interested.

36 - Wow, cool looking truck. Looks pretty amazing. It looks like you have a lot of time into it.

How much would you sell a roller for?

Technically, they're not rollers, because they don't have the wheels or tires on them. I'm selling them for $50.00. They are brand new complete chassis'.

Default I am hooked again

Out of the blue I decided to research RC cars for the first time in 15 years or so. I had a Thunder King sitting in the basement that hadn't been used in 10 years. It was the last RC car I ever bought up until now. Well needless to say, when I came across that Team3Six car, it blew my mind! A week later and I was installing a brushless motor kit into my Thunder king. The first time I tried it, It went so fast I could barely control it! Before the battery charge was over I killed it. This is the first time that this truck has ever broken a single part!

So, I am hooked into the sport again. I just bought an E-Revo on sale and I was surprised at how much heavier it is than my thunder king. No wonder the King went so fast...
I hope those spare chassis kits are still around Tim!
