there's a flashback. even the pros had a couple races with them regardless of their main sponsors. kinda like slash races now. they were in the mags. folks pickin diff batt/motor strategies to make the time. a good idea ahead of its time.
I would love to get a desert thunder buggy. I see world scale's on ebay from time to time but if I got one....I'd want to run it and then I would break something. I imagine parts are really hard to come by unless you get lucky and run into the original poster for example.
Crabs are just pets you carry around on your groin....
Sorry the original post was a little vague. I have complete electric chassis', no wheels, tires, bodies, or electrics. Brand new, but otherwise complete. I think there may be stock motors in them, but that would be about it. Let me know if anyone is interested.
36 - Wow, cool looking truck. Looks pretty amazing. It looks like you have a lot of time into it.
Out of the blue I decided to research RC cars for the first time in 15 years or so. I had a Thunder King sitting in the basement that hadn't been used in 10 years. It was the last RC car I ever bought up until now. Well needless to say, when I came across that Team3Six car, it blew my mind! A week later and I was installing a brushless motor kit into my Thunder king. The first time I tried it, It went so fast I could barely control it! Before the battery charge was over I killed it. This is the first time that this truck has ever broken a single part!
So, I am hooked into the sport again. I just bought an E-Revo on sale and I was surprised at how much heavier it is than my thunder king. No wonder the King went so fast...
I hope those spare chassis kits are still around Tim!
