Default 17.5 in 4wd's

Im looking at trying out the 17.5 in my B44. I was wondering what gearing i should try to aim for. As in spur and pinion?

You need to be around 6.0 FDR. With the Stock 84T-spur, you will need a 35T-pinion.

I think you will have problems clearing jumps unless you are running LiPo to reduce mass.

You actually need to be closer to 5.0:1 FDR in a buggy, depending on what motor you run.
