E-Slayer

I wanted to try some different tires on my Slayer, so I bought the MC2 17mm adapters and bolted on some 17mm 1/8 scale buggy wheels/tires. They are a tiny bit bigger in both diameter and width.

oops... Yeah, I meant Slayer. I didn't realize that the Slayer had the lay-down shock scheme. A total departure from its younger brother, Slash.
One of the guys at my local track runs a brushless converted slayer. Really sweet looking...
EDIT:
Wait, you're from Los Angeles. You might be another guy with an E-Slayer at the "local" track...

trdsupra88, in my opinion I think the 1515/1y would kill a 3.3 TRX. I run a 1515/1Y in my 1/8 truggy and it is as fast if not faster than when it had the an OS Vspec in it. Actually the 1515 is way too much motor for the Slayer, a 1512 would be a better choice since the Slayer is almost 3 pounds lighter than my truggy. But I had an spare 1515/1y so that is what I put in the Slayer.

yea you cant really compare a bl motor to a stinky one anyway because the bl's make so much low end, and you can always gear it higher to be faster but accel will always be more, since bl's make power from 1 rpm, they dont have to wait for a powerband like the nitros do, plus the 3.3 is a dog anyway

Sweet conversion. Looks pretty tight in there. How hard is it to wrench on?
