ROAR Electric 1/8?
I know it is way early but how long before ROAR set rules for 1/8 scale electric? Losi just release the 8ight E, and the rumor is that couple other major manufacture are working on a kit.

Given the time it took to get brushless & Lipo approved, I would say we should see something from ROAR in about 2012. Oh ya and it will only allow a Novak motor.

Most likely I would say that they will require a hardcased lipo for there events since they do require it for 1/10 scale. As for battery configuration, I am hoping they allow up to 6S lipo as there are hardcased 3S packs available, and you can do a dual pack setup ala Caster Fusion style.
As for motor limit, it would be VERY bad if ROAR limited it only to Novak sensored styled motors. I think it should be based on what are the common motor types from Novak, Castle, Neu, Medusa, etc. and let the racers go with what works.
I am curious though what ROAR would go with for main times.
